Prepare yourself for a trip back in time. Experience the events of folklore and history that shaped Grant County and the people who live here. In this family friendly event, Kent Scheuerell will have some fun, along with all of us… plus perhaps a few volunteer participants for skits! Discover all sorts of things you never knew about local folklore and history. The program is dedicated to Mrs. Elona Kindschi who shared her stories with Scheuerell and the sixth graders he taught at the Platteville Middle School.

Kent Scheuerell is a retired 6th grade teacher who taught 38 years at the Platteville Middle School where he directed plays and led campfires at outdoor education programs.  He haas always been interested in local history and has a history degree with a speech minor in secondary education from Loras College and a master’s degree in teaching history and elementary school certification from U.W. – Platteville.
