Join us for a fun day as we reopen the Grant Co History Museum and the Grant County Research Center.
The theme of this event is the Pink Pony! The Pony, which sat outside Lois Alcorn’s restaurant in Lancaster, was a beloved icon from the 1950s through the 1980s. With the help of many kind donations, the Pony has been restored and now makes it home at the Grant County History Museum.
Come for a free tour of the museum and see the Pink Pony. Wear your Pink Pony T-shirt for a free prize!
The Pink Pony BBQ sandwich (using same recipe used at the Pink Pony) will be for sale from 11:00am-2:00pm. Also chips and soda will be available for purchase. Dine on the lower level of the Museum or outside, weather permitting.
Prizes, raffles, and fun for the kids.
Masks must be worn indoors. Food may only be eaten on lower level of museum or outdoors.
